Now here is a configuration that is quite rare in Europe. This double drawbar combination is driving in The Netherlands within the 25,25 meter lenght regulations. There are some companies using this system of pulling two central axle drawbar trailers. It is a good logistic solution. This combination takes three swap body’s to local distribution centres.

Driving it is easy, it takes curves like no other and roundabouts are no problem. Also backing up is not as impossible as you might think. In fact the first trailer reacts like the front axle of a traditional drawbar trailer.
