DAF Trucks has presented the aerodynamic prototypes that were used for the development of the new XF and XG series. The last years DAF has tested a series of models in the windtunnel to find out what design the best result gives for maximum aerodynamics. The backward leaning model that is shown here was only a fraction better than the end result that was presented to the press as the new XF and XG series. With this presentation DAF gave an exclusive look in the kitchen of the proces that led to the final result.
