The photo’s we showed before on Iepieleaks are now confirmed to be the next heavy Ford truck from Turkey. The Ford company now officialy anounched the lounch of the new heavytruck during the IAA in Hannover, later this year.
The new truck is a real European heavy duty long distance truck with a spacious cab and the 500 Hp version of the Ford 12,7 litre Ecororq engine. The truck will be launched with the ZF Traxon gearbox but Ford is also developing their own automatised gearbox. Ford is aiming for the European market with the new truck. At the moment Ford trucks are sold in 29 countries. The plan is that by 2020 the number of countries is 50, covering all of Europe. Ford thinks that 50% of the production is going to be sold in Europe. Photo’s were sent in by different drivers and Iepieleaks spies and fans. Therefore no sources mentioned.
