Mercedes-Benz is going to launch the new Atego series on the CV Show in Birmingham in April, and on the Bauma exhibition in Munich.
Today we got the first ‘artist impressions’ of the new Atego and they look prommising. The Euro 6 atego comes with seven different enging outputs and it has several novilties on chassis, driveline and cabs.
The drawings of the new Atego look good. The truck is going to have a new front grille- and bumper but we espect Mercedes to use the existing cabs. Spie shots of Atego trucks show the old cabs with cammouflaged fronts.
New is that the Atego will come standard with the 8-speed Powershift 3 automated gearbox. As an option there will be manual 6- and 9 speed gearboxes.
Now here is one of the spie shots of the new Atego, and this is definily the old cab with a new front.
