New OM 473 anounched!

The Arocs will come with 16 different engine- types from 238 till 625 Hp. The biggest ones will use the new OM 473 engine. That is the big one they also use in the USA and that was designed with Detroit Diesel. The straight six engine is 15,6 liters big and delivers torque up to 3000 Nm.

Also the Arocs is the first off-road vehicle that comes without the option of a manual transmission. The new Powershift 3 automated gearbox has some extra features for driving offroad.

The cabs on the Arocs are a mix of Antos and Actros cabs in two widts and in total in 14 different versions.

 

 

Earlyer we published this spie shot of what is now called Arocs four axled truck that we found on Twitter. This could be the narrow cab that is also used on the Antos.

    De artist impressions zien er gelikt uit maar eerst in het echie zien.
