Dutch IVECO dealer organisation and importer IVECO Schouten is presenting the new IVECO Strator bonneted truck on the 24th of july at the Truckstar Festival in Assen, The Netherlands.
The Strator was in production in The Netherlands for some time, inspired by the Australian PowerStar of IVECO. With the arrival of the new S-Way the production stopped, but now the new bonnet is designed and ready for launch. With the Strator IVECO is the only truckbrand that offers a bonneted truck for the European market, apart from Mercedes-Benz with the military truck Zetros.
And off course there are the Vlastuin and Tungt conversions for Scania and Volvo, but this is the only official European truck importer that now comes to the market with a bonneted truck. Rumours say the truck is going to be within the legal European length with a 13.60 trailer. Below you see a picture of the Australian PowerStar, based on the Stralis.
