Volvo has tested the FH electric truck with 666 Hp on a run over 600 km from Munich to Berlin. The trailer was loaded up to a total combination weight of 39 ton, and the speed was 85 km/h.
The test run was completed with one charge stop, halfway the run. The results were checked by Dekra. In total 119 kWh was regenerated during the trip. That is about 18% of the energy needed for the 606 km. The consumption was 107 kWh/100 km. At arrival in Berlin there was still 35% battery capacity remaining, good for another 130 km.
