Scania presents a new bonneted truck, but not the model everybody hopes to see. Le Vampire is the name of the 4×4 army truck, produced in the French Scania factory in Angers.
The choice for a bonneted design is because the truck has to have a low profile, so it can be transported by air. The Scania Super engine with 460 Hp is under the hood, and there is space for four people in the cab. The French army ordered the first 50 trucks, that will be delivered in the summer of 2026.
