The MAN truck that we posted holds a secret that we first didn’t see. To be complient with the new ‘Direct Vision Guidline the truck has a bigger windscreen. The part below the white line that we see behind the window is the extention. This also means that MAN has to redesign the dashboard, to be able to give a good viewing angle.
It also means that MAN is planning to use the existing cab longer than espected. The new European guidline is starting in 2028 and this means we have to wait for the new Traton cab that MAN is going to share with Scania for at least 2030.
