Tatra presents the Force e-Drive Hybrid, a truck that combines a diesel engine with an electric driveline and a battery.
Tatra is working on electric, hydrogen fuel cell and hybrid drivelines for the future. The new Force e-Drive Hybrid is the first alternative drivelines that is presented by Tatra. The truck is able to drive up to 50 km full electric, even offroad.
The truck has the famous Tatra chassis layout with the central tube and independant suspension. The diesel is a Tatra T3 RE internal combustion engine and an electric engine with 300 kW and a peak performance of 500 kW. The battery pack is 67 kWh and is made of Lithium-titaniumoxide, LTO.
The Danfoss electric drive engine is placed above the frame and is working with an Allison automatic, seven drive transmission.
