MAN has done tests with an autonomous driving safety vehicle that secures roadworks. The MAN TGM follows another truck, while warning oncomming traffic for the roadworks. This only works when driving at low speed. This can save lives, because a lot of accidents happen with traffic colliding with these vehicles. The MAN TGM can also be driven with a driver for other work, and then it acts like any other MAN truck.
