Now here we see the first photo’s of the next Kamaz rallytruck for DAKAR. This year we espected Kamaz to join the DAKAR rally with the bonneted truck but that was not the case. Now these photo’s show the black bonneted truck during testing and that gives us the impression the truck is going to join in the next rally’s.
We have no further information what is underneath the Mercedes Zetros bonnet and cab. What we did hear is that the Dakar organisation is going to make some special rules as a handicap for bonneted trucks. We think that they are going to make rules about the weight distribution between the front- and rear axles. That way the cab over engine trucks stay competative too.
