Small truck producer MAZ-MAN is located in Minsk, Belarus, near the big MAZ truck plant. In 1998 MAZ-MAN was established as joint venture between MAZ and MAN for the production of trucks with the MAN F2000 cabs and engines.
Now MAZ-MAN is not a joint venture anymore because MAN got out some years ago. After that the F2000 cab was sold to China. Still, the company produces trucks with MAN engines and other german components. The Cab comes now from MAZ, but with some restyling.
The latest product is a heavy 6×6 tipper for Siberian oilfields, equipped with 16 cubic meter body, with 26 tones payload and 41 tones GVW. The engine is the MAN D20, 430 hp, Euro 3 (for off-road vehicles in Russia is valid Euro 3 emission, for on-road — Euro 4), gearbox is ZF16, transfer box — ZF.
