The Mercedes-Benz ProCabin is well known for its space, but not for its entry. Especialy in the electric version, the eActros 600 the cab is too high for what these trucks mainly do, supermarket distribution. Technically the eActros 600 is the ideal electric truck, but with four steps and the high seating position it is not ideal for inner city jobs.
Now Mercedes is testing a lower version of the ProCabin in Brazil, where we found these photo’s. That would be a great match with the eActros 600 driveline and battery’s! The cab is the 2,5 meter wide version that we know from the Actros F, but now with the streamlined ProCabin front. The lower part of the cab seems to be completely new, and has a different design.
Is this version also comming to Europe? That would be a great option.
