Scania flat floor prototype from 2010

RussischeprotoNow here is something special that was hidden for very long. One of my Russian Iepieleaks fans sent me this photo of a rather strange Scania prototype that was shot in 2010. It is a cab with a flat floor but it looks like Scania used a standard Highline cab that was rebuilt. When you look good you see the extra panels on the side of the cab, but also the grille was made longer. Even the air-intakes are adjusted to camouflage the extra hight of the cab. Also nodice the mirror’s look a bit different but these are the ones we know from the construction types of Scania.

Now other suggestions from my dear Russian friends are that the new Scania trucks will come with a dual clutch transmission. German sources like some magazines also bring that news. Another intersting photo is this one where we see  VW-Scania big chiefs Lundstedt, Piech, Winterkorn, Ludanek and Edstrom studying the Volvo Independant Front Suspension axle at the IAA 2012. That is a few years ago but these gentlemen together on one photo and on the Volvo stand is still very interesting. Also it raises the question if Scania is working on a front axle like this.
