Belgian producer of trailers and busses Van Hool got an order from the city of Hamburg for two full electrical driven Exqui City vehicles. These are ‘trambusses’ as Van Hool names them, but basicly they are modern trolley busses. The difference is that these Exqui City busses don’t need a powerline along the whole route.
The vehicles are charged overnight. Van Hool also produces these vehicles with a hybrid driveline of even with a fuel cell.
