Chinese takeover for Iveco?

CNH Industrial, the mother company of Iveco, has resumed negotiations with the Chinese company FAW to sell CNH’s truck branche, Iveco, Reuters reports. Both parties broke off negotiations last July, because FAW, a state-owned company, would not offer enough money for Iveco. The offer then amounted to three billion euros. Recently, just before the turn…Continue Reading

Iveco tries mirrorcam-like system on S-Way

Iveco tries mirrorcam-like system on S-Way

This Iveco S-Way is spotted with camera’s instead of mirrors. It seems that Iveco is testing this system in daily practice. However, the Italians choose a slightly different course than Mercedes. The camerás mountee on this S-Way are placed just under the sunvisor. We wonder what this will look like on a fleettruck, as these…Continue Reading

Iveco LNG and Diesel?

The pictures we published last week of the new, and heavy camouflaged Iveco trucks show a nice detail. We didn’t notice but one of our readers pointed at the LNG tank in combination with what seems to be a diesel tank on the chassis. That diesel tank is too big for the nightheater. Does this…Continue Reading
